Hi, I'm Toni, the heart and hands behind Whimsy & Me.

For more than sixteen years, I've been creating art that tells stories—stories of hope, beauty, resilience and the quiet joy found in everyday moments. Whether I'm painting, shaping clay or breathing new life into vintage textiles with needle and thread, every piece begins the same way: in my heart.

Creativity has always been part of who I am, but over the years it has become something much deeper. It has become a place of healing.

After the heartbreaking loss of my grandchild, I felt an overwhelming need to create a vessel that could hold both my love and my grief. That gentle calling led me back to pottery, something I had only briefly explored years before. In one of life's beautiful moments of grace, a dear friend gifted me her mother's pottery wheel, and not long after, my mother-in-law gifted me her kiln. Those generous gifts felt like an invitation to begin again.

Today, Whimsy & Me is a reflection of that journey.

Here you'll find original mixed media paintings, handcrafted ceramics and thoughtfully refashioned embroidered clothing, each made slowly and intentionally. I believe handmade things carry a little of the maker's heart, and my hope is that every piece I create brings warmth, comfort and beauty into the homes and lives of those who welcome them.

But Whimsy & Me is about more than art.

It's about creating a place where women gather, friendships are made and hearts heal. Through workshops, shared creativity and meaningful conversations around the table, I've seen how making something with our hands can restore something within ourselves.
